Scottish Pupils as EU Politicians

Articulate has recently been given the great opportunity and honour of organising biannual trips to Strasbourg, bringing Scottish pupils to take part in the outstanding, prestigious Euroscola programme. We support Glasgow City Council and Rotary International to run successful programmes which allow students from across the country to become EU politicians for a day. Euroscola brings young people together from all over Europe to debate the issues facing young people today across the continent in both French and English. It’s a unique chance for students in their final year of secondary school to not only practise the French language, but also to develop an understanding of the EU as a political institution and discuss issues which affect them as young Europeans today.

Win a Day Camp for your school

This June we are launching a new competition to give schools in the central belt of Scotland the chance to win a language Day Camp of their choice.

What can we win?

Primary and secondary schools across the central belt can win a half-day programme (equivalent of 4 periods) in French, Spanish or German which is delivered by our Articulate teaching team for a class of up to 30 pupils.

French Easter School – April 2016

We are so excited to be welcoming a small group of children from the French organisation ‘Amis Mots’ again during the Easter holidays. They will be travelling from Dijon to stay with us for a week and take part in lots of language and culture activities.

We are running an French Easter School for English speakers at the same time and we have an exciting programme planned where we will be taking part in lots of adventure activities around the outdoor centre and visiting Glasgow’s Harry Potter history.
