After a lovely French breakfast of croissants, we started our day with some warm-up games in the activity hall.
Then it was time to start our adventure activities. Our group split into 5. Unfortunately, due to the weather, not all of our activities could go ahead but we had so much fun sum wrestling, climbing the high rooms, getting out of the escape room and hitting bullseyes in archery! We learned lots of French vocabulary along the way too!
After a lovely lunch of croquet monsieur, we has our Language Quest. We rotated around different communication and problem solving challenges to win coins. We were great at solving puzzles.
Then it was time for film-making. Each group was given a range of costumes to inspire a story. We came up with our ideas and wrote our scripts in French and then got dressed in our amazing costumes to act them out. They are hilarious!
After our lovely cassoulet for dinner, followed by tarte aux pommes or tarte au citron, we had our MasterChef evening which began with an international taste test.
We even had the chance to try snails!
We then created dishes to present to our judges, the teachers! We had to invent two dishes and present them in French. Everyone worked very hard and the dishes were delicious… maybe except the melon, chocolate, kiwi and salt and vinegar crisp combination!
We are sad to be leaving this morning after a lovely two nights on our French camp but we look forward to seeing everyone at home tonight! À bientôt!
