Our final day at Launch Camp

This morning, our campers got woken up by some giant bananas! It was a funny way to start the day. We then had a delicious breakfast and some pirate language lessons.

Then we headed out to the field for a game of ‘capture du drapeau’. The campers were so fast and they even won when we had a ‘campers vs mentors’ game!

Then we had another language lesson and learned all about cooking vocabulary. We then used it all in our project where we made cookery videos for how to make a ‘pirate sandwich’. There were some interesting things in the sandwiches including feet, smelly socks, flags and laminated children.

After lunch, we headed to do our adventure activities. We did some crate climbing and we were so impressed by how brave everyone was!

We had a final game of camouflage in the forest before everyone’s parents arrived to take them home. We showed all the pictures and videos we created and we gave everyone certificates with their special camp names. We are so proud of how well everyone has done.

We had such a great time this week with amazing campers and can’t wait for next year already!
