Cooking and Highland Games

This morning our lessons focused on foods and recipes. We recorded some voiceovers to give instructions and then made a food that is traditional from the languages we are studying. It was great fun and we got to try lots of different foods.

For lunch, we had a traditional British afternoon tea. It was delicious as we had mini sandwiches and a whole selection of cakes.

This afternoon, we had our own Highland Games. We had a game of capture the flag and lots of competitive races. We had tugs of war, wellie toss races and even hula hoop challenges.

After dinner, the campers who won Fort Boyard got to pour buckets of water over the mentors of their choice. Thomas and Bronya were the unlucky ones!

This evening, we celebrated the end of our second week at camp with a glow party. We had some dancing, a photo booth and watched all the films we created and the photos of what we have been up to.

We have had an absolutely amazing week and we are so sad to see everyone go. Thank you to all our fantastic campers for all their enthusiasm and language learning this week.
