We started the day with some delicious croissants for breakfast and then we headed to our morning project groups. We played some games to warm-up and then we learned all the language we’d need to create our piece of media. One group made fantastic films about a crazy French café.

One of the groups learned all about describing superheroes and they made fantastic comic books completely in French.
The third group were learning about celebrities and made their very own enhanced podcast – combing photos of their celebrities with their podcast interview a star. They looked brilliant as pop stars and famous scientists!
After some French baguettes for lunch, some of the campers took part in a survival afternoon. They played ‘camouflage’ in the forest, built amazing (nearly) waterproof shelters and even made some bread on the fire. They have been receiving their instructions in French and are learning new vocabulary throughout the activities!
Some of the other campers headed on the adventure activities run by the centre. They were cycling, climbing, swinging, gorge walking and even taking archery classes.
There was some delicious French food for dinner including coq au vin and ratatouille. Délicieux! We had some free time after dinner and headed to the carnival where we could take part in lots of mini games and activities.
We also went in groups to the campfire and toasted some marshmallows. They were great.
We can’t wait for another day of adventure tomorrow!
