After breakfast this morning, we had a great dance warm-up with Kara to get our bodies and brains ready to learn. We then revised our vocabulary, wrote our diaries and learned lots in today’s lesson about talking in the past in French. Everyone picked it up so fast and we were all impressed.

Morning dance lessons.

Le cours de français.
We used all our learning to write lyrics to our own song. We wrote about our favourite topic – le mec fou. We sang to the tune of a Taylor Swift song and the finished song sounded great when we put all our verses together later in the day.

Recording our original song!
After lunch, we got our camouflaged face paint on and headed out for an army assault course, games of hide and seek and shelter building. The shelters weren’t very waterproof and everyone got a little wet. There was just enough time to take a den selfie before the came down!

Cache-cache – hide and seek.

Shelter building.

Always time for a den selfie – especially before water is thrown on the roof to see if it is waterproof or not.
Before dinner, we wrote our diaries and learned all about idioms.

Dairy entries in the past tense.
After eating our delicious hamburgers, we got set to make our own yummy creations in Master Chef. The finished meals were amazing and very delicious. Before bed, there was the chance to decorate some cupcakes using the theme ‘French Camp’ and they looked amazing and tasted pretty great too.
